Senior Care

VNS Health offers several services that can help older adults live safely on their own, and give their loved ones peace of mind. And if you know you need help but aren’t sure what you might need, let us know. We can guide you through options so you can choose what’s right for you.

Services to Help Older Adults

You might think of VNS Health as in-home nursing care or rehab after a hospital visit, but we’re so much more! We offer several services and specialized programs that can help older adults stay safe in their homes. They’re customized to meet each person’s needs and can reassure family caregivers that their loved one is in good hands.

Home Health Aides

Certified home health aides provide personal care assistance, like help with bathing, grooming, and getting dressed. They can also help with moving safely in the home (getting out of bed, for example) and outdoors. And they can prepare meals, track vital signs, and give medication reminders.

Dementia Care at Home

Our Dementia Care at Home program supports people with memory loss and their loved ones. Our care plans are created to meet each person’s unique needs now and as their condition changes. Experts provide on-going support to family caregivers with advice and recommendations for managing care.

Fall Prevention Program

Falls among seniors can be dangerous. Our Fall Prevention Program helps older adults build strength and maintain balance. Physical therapists assess risk factors, recommend changes to improve home safety, and track progress.

Mental Health Care for Older Adults

Aging brings challenges that can affect mental health, but anxiety, depression, and isolation are often unnoticed or undiagnosed. VNS Health offers in-home support as well as outreach to connect older adults to community services.
