2022 Benefit:
The Future of Care.
The Comfort of Home.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2022
The Ziegfeld Ballroom, NYC
The VNS Health 2022 Benefit: “The Future of Care. The Comfort of Home.”, was held on Thursday, November 10th at the Ziegfeld Ballroom. The event, our first in-person gala since 2019, and our first as VNS Health, raised $1.2 million dollars for our Charitable Care and Community Benefit programs, and was attended by 500 guests. Emceed by PIX 11 Anchor Kori Chambers, the evening was highlighted by the presentation of our Lillian D. Wald Award to Eugenie F. Doyle, MD, Board Member Emerita, VNS Health, and to Stephen A. Warnke, Partner, Ropes & Gray LLP.
The revamped program, which featured all the evening’s video and speeches at the beginning of the event, allowed the 500 guests the ability to enjoy the uninterrupted company of their friends and tablemates, while the dessert buffet, another new feature, allowed the guests freedom to mingle and visit other friends and tables. The final hour featured a full dance floor of guests.
2022 Benefit Highlights
As you may have heard, back in May, we changed our name from the Visiting Nurse Service of New York to VNS Health. While our name and branding have changed, our expert and compassionate care remains the same, as does our mission – to improve the health and well-being of people through high-quality, cost-effective health care in the home and community.
The 2022 Benefit will feature the presentation of the Lillian D. Wald Award to Eugenie F. Doyle, MD, Board Member Emerita, VNS Health, and to Stephen A. Warnke, Partner, Ropes & Gray LLP. The award, named after the public health pioneer and founder of VNS Health, is presented each year in recognition to those who have made significant contributions to the health and welfare of others.
In 2021, VNS Health – together with our generous supporters and community partners – provided more than $51 million in charitable care and community benefit programs.
